FAYE COLEMAN
Birchleaf, VA- Faye Coleman, age 84 of Rakes Ridge Road, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Clintwood, VA. Born in Grundy, VA, she was a daughter of the late Bud and Dorsey Owens Dales. She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie F. Coleman, two sons, Dennis Franklin “Mouse” Coleman and Danny Coleman, a grandson, Timothy McClanahan and a granddaughter, Zonia Lester.
Survivors include three daughters, Charlene Lester of Birchleaf, Brenda McClanahan of Marion and Rhonda (Billy) Simons of Rural Retreat, two sons, Jeff Coleman of Rural Retreat and Barry Coleman of Max Meadows, two sisters, Shirley Church of Haysi and Jawetta Ohenemus of GA, a brother, Woody (Gaye) Dales of Vansant and 9 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elder Danny Hurley officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Rural Retreat, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
