BETTY JEAN DEEL
Haysi, VA- Betty Jean Deel, age 59 of Owens Branch, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN. Born in Buchanan County. She was a homemaker and was of the Old Regular Baptist faith.
Survivors include her parents, Clyde Boyd of Clintwood and Lorene Yates Boyd of Haysi, two sons, Shawn (Sherry) Deel of Birchleaf and Nathan Deel of Haysi, grandchildren, Charity and Alexis Deel both of Birchleaf, a brother, Danny (Sandy) Boyd of Haysi, three sisters, Allene Deel of Haysi, Loretta (Bill) Garrett and Bernette (Randy) Deel both of Clintwood, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elders Toby Bailey, David O’quinn and Eddie Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in Clyde Boyd Family Cemetery, Clintwood, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
