Anne Lee Jackson, age 87 of Davenport, VA, passed away Friday, April, 10, 2015, surrounded by her loving family at the home of her daughter, Leshia, in Bealeton, VA, where she had resided for the last 5 years. Born June 15, 1927, in Davenport she was the daughter of the late Eulis and Helen Breeding. She was of the Primitive Baptist faith and a retiree of the Buchanan County School System. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Carter Jackson, a granddaughter, Elizabeth Compton, two sisters, Linda Lou Breeding and Sandra Sue Bostic, four brothers, Clifford, Harold, Elmer, and Kenny Breeding.
Survivors include a daughter, Leshia (Rick) Compton of Bealeton, two sons, Randy (Kay) Jackson of Davenport, and Gary (Phyllis) Jackson of Bristol, VA, four grandchildren, Corrinn Compton, Alex Compton, Jenny (Jimmy) Hess, and Jennifer Jackson, a great granddaughter, Piper Anne "Little Doll" Compton, step-grandchildren, LeeJay (Kayla) Lockhart, Michael Lockhart, and Glenda Lockhart, step-great-grandchildren, Jennifer Hess, Tylar Lockhart, and Drew Lockhart, a sister, Sheila (Ronnie) Fletcher, Vansant, VA, three brothers, Clair Breeding, Holly, MI, Victor (Carol) Breeding, Davenport, and Larry (Mildred) Breeding, Vansant, two sisters-in-law, Marlene Breeding and Imogene Jackson of Davenport, and one brother-in law, Russell Bostic, Vansant.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2015 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elders Garnell Gilbert and Jim Duty officiating. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery, Davenport. Pallbearers will be Greg Breeding, David Breeding, Eric Breeding, Aaron Fletcher, and Jeff Bostic.
