Obituary for Andrew Palmer Mullins

Andrew Palmer  Mullins
Birchleaf, VA – Andrew Palmer Mullins, age 34 of Tildy Branch, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was a son of Teresa Diane Weaver and the late Palmer Mullins. He was last employed as an auto mechanic and was a member of Lick Creek Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Weaver, paternal grandparents, Alfred and Georgia Mae Mullins, an uncle, Brian Owens, and an aunt, Suzie Mullins.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Amanda Mullins, three daughters, Treonna, Evea, and Maria Mullins, maternal grandmother, Ann “Nan” Owens, brothers, Jeremy Scott (Cassondra) Mullins of Lincolnton, NC and Joshua Alfred (Lisa) Mullins of Coila, MS, sisters, Teri Mae (Frankie) Tolbert of Charlottesville, VA and Trista Jamine (Mike) Wade of Lincolnton, NC, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Lick Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Gary Willis officiating. Burial will follow in the Dewey Sutherland Cemetery on Lick Creek. Pallbearers will be Dwaine Lester, Rex Owens, Brad Mullins, Cole Artrip, Tucker Counts, Truman Counts, Chris Counts, and Andrew Counts. The family will receive friends after 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13 at the church where a service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
