Clinchco, VA – Alice Darlene Epling Lester Rasnick, age 59 of Stevens Ridge passed away Monday, April 13, 2015. Born in Dickenson County, she was a daughter of Lillie Sullivan Epling and the late Gerald T.(Fly) Epling. She was last employed at St. Mary’s Hospital in Norton, VA and attended Fremont Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Danny Lester.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Fayne Rasnick; sons, Will (Sharon) Lester, Joshua (Jessica) Rasnick, Travis (Kristi) Rasnick and J.T. (Brenla) Rasnick all of Clinchco, VA; grandchildren, Devin, Keysha, Kayli, Chase, Alexa, Walker, Elijah, Noah, Jocelyn, Jacob and Jaxon, a great grandson, Corey Hall, a brother, Gerald (Melissa) Epling Jr. of Bristol and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Haysi Funeral Home with Michael Rasnick officiating. Burial will follow in the Rasnick Cemetery, Nealy Ridge, VA. Pallbearers will be Kennith Branham, Jon Michael Fleming, Brandon Rasnick, Tyler Rasnick, Jason Edwards and Chase Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home where a song service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
