Jeremy Mullins
Okeechobee, FL – Jeremy Mullins, age 25, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers after a work accident. He was the son of Timothy Mullins and Marnie Morgan Mullins. He was of the Baptist faith and a construction welder. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Betty Lou Mullins and maternal grandparents, Victor Morgan and Barbara Hargrave.
Survivors include his father, Timothy S. Mullins of Haysi, VA, mother, Marnie Mullins of Butler, AL, fiancé, Brittani Joiner of Okeechobee, two brothers, Jamie Jones of CO and Allen Jones of NC, a sister, Tori Mullins of Butler, AL, paternal grandfather, George Mullins of Haysi, a special cousin, Austin Woods, and a special aunt and uncle, Judy and Stan Woods.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Splashdam Freewill Baptist Church with Danny Sluss and Darrell Milgrim officiating. Burial will follow in the J.S. Willis Cemetery, Haysi. Pallbearers will be Stan Woods, Austin Woods, Dwayne Mullins, Rick Goudreau, George Mullins, Brandi Davis, and Larry Sutton. The family will receive friends after 5:00 p.m. on Monday at the church where a service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
