Haysi, VA- Gladys Fuller, age 84 of Greenbrier Road, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at her home. Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late John and Nellie Raines Fuller. She was a retired janitor and school bus driver for Buchanan County Schools and was of the Old Regular Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Agnes Yates, Lois Belcher, Nancy Deel and Oakie Fuller and brothers, Lonza, Tom, Henry, Letcher and David.
Survivors include a son Johnny (Lisa) Fuller of Haysi, three sisters, Dixie Deel, Gay Blankenship and Pauline (Levi) Sutherland all of Haysi, special caretaker, Patricia Deel and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elders, Roger Coleman, Mark Justice and Denny Deel officiating. Burial will follow in Fuller Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
