RUBY GAY HURLEY
Vansant, VA- Ruby Gay Hurley, age 68, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at her home. Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late Epp and Melda Bell Davis Hunt. She was a homemaker. In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Virginia Tennessee Matney of Honaker, Tavy Rowe of Stone Cold, VA and Loraine Stiltner of Oakwood and brothers, Harless Hunt and Arnold Lee Hunt both of Grundy.
Survivors include a daughter, Debra (Chris) Stevens of Council, two sons, Dennis Gene Dotson of KY and Douglas Dotson of Marion, grandchildren, Sandy Stevens, Joshua Stevens, Dennis Gene Dotson II and Sasha Dotson, a sister, Mary McCoy of Vansant and a special niece, Zella Boyd of Vansant.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016 at Haysi Funeral Home with Roy Lee Wilson officiating.
