Haysi, VA- Anna Mae Woods, age 86 of Old CC Road, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at Dickenson Community Hospital in Clintwood, VA. Born in Dickenson County she was a daughter of the late Estes and Kelsie Wallace Willis. She was a homemaker and member of Bartlick Independent Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Calip Wallace and last husband, James Woods, a daughter, Bernice Mullins, sisters, Genevieve Combs and Verta Lee Potter.
Survivors include a daughter, Deloris “Cookie” (Junior) McClanahan, three grandsons, James Junior (Delana) Mullins, Jason Allen McClanahan and Daniel Estes McClanahan and two granddaughters, Kelsie Jones and Deloris Mullins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2016 at Bartlick Freewill Baptist Church with James Swiney and Junior Deel officiating. Burial will follow in J.S. Willis Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
