JACK OWENS
Haysi, VA- Jack Owens, age 73 of Breaks Park Road, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at his home. Born in Buchanan County, he was a son of the late Clarence and Myrtle Fuller Owens. He was last employed at Shannon Coleman Strip Mines. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Faye Orr and Gay Brown and brothers, Terry Owens and Kippie Owens.
Survivors include three sons, David (Patricia) Owens, Christopher Owens both of Warren, MI and Jesse Owens of Haysi, two brothers, Claude (Sue) Owens of Haysi and Robert Owens of Troy, MI and sisters, Reba (Wayne) Stanley of Haysi and Jennie Justus of Hurley, grandchildren, and special niece, Jamie Owens.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Haysi Funeral Home with Lonnie Fuller officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 29 at Enoch Mullins Cemetery, Breaks, VA. Pallbearers will family and friends.
