Honaker, VA – Timothy Lynn Tiller, age 57, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at Buchanan General Hospital in Grundy, VA. He was a son of the late Barney Paul Tiller and Inez Tiller Barton. He was last employed as a truck driver and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father, Elden Barton, three brothers, David Carson Barton, Randell Paul Tiller, and Harold Dean Tiller, and two sisters, Joyce Ann Tiller and Barbara Ann Sykes.
Survivors include four brothers, Jackie Elden (Cathy) Barton of Davenport, VA, Edward Barney (Penny) Tiller of Davenport, Beecher (Melissa) Barton of Bee, VA, and Timothy Blaine Barton of Birchleaf, VA, three sisters, Teresa Lynn Tiller of Abingdon, VA, Linda Jean Elswick and Melissa Caroline Neece both of Lebanon, VA and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Haysi Funeral Home with Roy Lee Wilson and Denver Sutherland officiating. Burial will follow in the Tiller Family Cemetery, Davenport. Pallbearers will be David Wilson, Dexter Wilson, Richard Wilson, Michael Charles, Gary Barton, G.C. Barton, and Dustin Barton. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Tiller, Eugene Church, and Roger Gilbert. The family will receive friends after 12:00 noon on Thursday prior to the funeral service.
