Barbara Carol Sutherland
Abingdon, VA – Barbara Carol Sutherland, age 70 of Whites Mill Road, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at her residence. Born in Dickenson County, she was a daughter of the late Ellis Lacy and Alpha Lester Sutherland. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.
Survivors include her husband, James Ira Harris, three daughters, Diana Hayes of Council, VA, Deborah Carroll of GA, and Dorothy (Terry) Mitchell of Rosedale, VA, a son, Timothy (Lisa) Harris of Rosedale, grandchildren; Whitley Harris Fields, her precious angel, Haleigh Harris, James David Harris, Joshua Lacy Hayes, Jessee Aaron Gilbert, Christopher Deel, Crissy (Christopher) Parm, Kelly Lynn Mitchell Starling, and Beth Ann Mitchell, great-grandchildren, Courtney Deel, Cadence Parm, and Paisley Brinn Fields, sisters, Nettie Dean (Donald) Owens of Bee, VA and Sharon Kay Boyd of Birchleaf, VA, and a brother, Charles Blaine (Patty) Sutherland of Bee.
