Evelyn Geneva Coleman
Haysi, VA – Evelyn Geneva Coleman, age 67, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at Dickenson Community Hospital in Clintwood, VA. Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Delta Gent Boyd. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist Faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Maddox and Leah Deel, and a brother, Alfred Boyd.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Coleman, two sons, Billy Coleman Jr. of Haysi and Greg (Tammi) Coleman of Deltona, FL, two daughters, Kim Coleman Webster of Haysi and Sue (Derrick) Saddler of Westmoreland, TN, seven grandchildren; Jenny, Suzanne, Cory, Tyler, Geneva, Trent, and C.J., five great grandchildren, four sisters, Jeanette (Darrel) James of Honaker, VA, Judy (Jennings) Boyd of Davenport, VA, Hazel Neeley of Davenport, and Brenda (Rodney) Duty of Davenport, and a brother, Ralph Boyd of Harmon, VA.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Haysi Funeral Home with Palmer Leftwich officiating. Burial will follow in the Coleman Cemetery, Haysi. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 13 at the funeral home where an evening service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Darrell Milgrim.
