Haysi, VA- Billy “Jack” Fuller, age 87 of Welcome Lane, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at his home. Born in Dickenson County, he was a son of the late Byrd and Martha McFadden Fuller. He was a coal miner and member of Splashdam Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Georgia Fuller, brothers, Rual Fuller, Ervin Fuller, Buddie Fuller and Claudie Fuller and a nephew, Timothy Byrd Fuller.
Survivors include his wife, Pearlie, four daughters, Carolyn Sue (Terry Roger) Epling of Haysi, Tammie (Junior) Fleming of Clintwood, Debbie (Carlos) Rose of Haysi and Jackie Fuller of Haysi, two sisters, Arlene (Jerry) Deel and Patsy Fuller both of Haysi, a brother, George Fuller of Haysi, grandchildren, Missy (Sean) Beller, Jennifer Renea (Byron Joseph) Dorton, Bill (Shasta) Rose and Matthew (Brandy) Fleming, great-grandchildren, Alex, Madison, Elias, Abram, Jenna and Journey and a great-great grandchild, Bentley.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Splashdam Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Rose, Pastor Terry Roger Epling and Pastor Danny Sluss officiating. Burial will follow in Bailey-Owens Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church with an evening service at 7:00 p.m.
