Obituary for Roy Lynn Baker

Roy Lynn  Baker

Clintwood, VA- Roy Lynn Baker, age 59 of Newberry Ridge, passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. Born in Dickenson County, he was a son of the late Verlin and Vonice Sykes Baker. He was a coal miner and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his companions parents, JoAnn and Aster Charles, a sister, Shirley Kashat, nephews, Carlos O’quinn and Andrew Baker and a uncle, Carroll Baker.
Survivors include his companion, Tammy Branham, a son, Issac Vitatoe, step-children, Daniel (Lisa) Kiser, Jessica (Mohammad) Soliman, Tabby Bryant, and Andy (Trista) Kiser, grandchildren, Landon Kiser, Deark Kiser, Tyler Mullins, Christian Mullins, Hamed Soliman and Maya Soliman, four sisters, Sue (Danny) Willis, Merle (Bill) O’quinn, Mavis (Rick) O’quinn and Darlene (Zane) Edwards, three brothers, Neubern (Vickie) Baker, Clayton Baker and Jeffery (Cindy) Baker.
A visitation/memorial service will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Haysi Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com Haysi Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
