ARTHUR JOE BOYD
Florida- Arthur Joe Boyd, age 70, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017. Born in Devon, WV, he was a son of the late Ezra and Bertha Boyd. He was a UMWA coal miner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Carter Martin Boyd, a niece, Connie Sutherland, sisters, Lucy Rasnake and Pearl Rasnake and brothers, George and John Boyd.
Survivors include his companion Sheila Miller, his children, Rhonda Gail (Rocky) Deel of Rural Retreat, Ronald Deel and Pamela Wallace both of Haysi and Katrina Sullivan, mother of his children, Helen Jean Boyd of Haysi, sisters, Easter Mahon and Patricia Browning both of Hayters Gap, Lovana (Jerry) Thomas of Lebanon, Pauline (Gary) O’quinn of Bee and Ada Ball of Cincinnati, OH, 8 grandchildren, nieces and nephews, Tom and Arthur Mahon, Misty Cantrell, Rick Boyd, Willie and Todd Browning and Ashley Lawson and special little buddy, Noah Browning.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Duty Cemetery, Bee,VA.
