Darrell Ray Deel

Vansant, VA – Darrell Ray Deel, age 59 of Deskins Road, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at Buchanan General Hospital in Grundy. Born in Buchanan County, he was a son of Betty Morefield and the late Arvil Deel. He was a retired coal miner and of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his mother, survivors include three sons, Gregory Ray Deel and Phillip Vance Deel both of Prater, and Darrell Adam (Jessica) Deel of Tazewell, VA, three grandchildren, a sister, Mickey (Harlis) Breeding of Rosedale, VA, and two brothers, James (Loretta) Deel and Tim (Pearlie) Deel both of Prater.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 at Haysi Funeral Home with Lonnie Fuller officiating. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com. Haysi Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
