DENNIS CLYDE EDWARDS
Cleveland, VA- Dennis Clyde Edwards, age 57 of Riverview Terrace, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA. Born in Michigan, he was a son of the late Clyde and Bulah Edwards. He was a 1977 graduate of Haysi High School and was last employed at General Engineering Hydraulic Shop. He retired from Clinchfield Coal Company and was of the Freewill Baptist faith.
Survivors include a son, Travis Edwards of Cleveland, a brother, Keith Edwards and wife Denechia of Clinchco, a granddaughter, Brionna Edwards, three nephews, Cody Edwards, Andy (Erin) Edwards and Toby Edwards and a niece, Maggie Edwards.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 at Haysi Funeral Home with Pastor Willis Osborne officiating. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. prior to funeral service. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 5 at Holly Ray Edwards Cemetery, Birchleaf, VA with Pastor Joe Glenn Sluss officiating.
