EUGENE EARL DEEL
Vansant, VA- Eugene Earl Deel, age 79, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Grundy, VA. He was a son of the late G.W. and Missouri Deel. He was owner and operator of Deel’s T.V. and was a member of Looney’s United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, June Deel, a son, Tim Deel and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a son, Gary Deel of Vansant, two daughters, Connie (Alex) Vanover of Vansant and Susan (Hartford) Hight of Snellville, GA, grandchildren, Stephanie Deel of Blacksburg, VA, Emily Hight of Snellville, GA, Nick Vanover of London, United Kingdom, Aaron (Katie) Deel of Roanoke and Wade Vanover of Los Angeles, CA.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 7, 2017 at Haysi Funeral Home with Rev. J.N. Howard officiating. Burial will follow in George W. Deel Cemetery, Greenbrier, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 12:00 on Monday at the funeral home prior to funeral service.
