Odra Mae Wallace
Haysi, VA – Odra Mae Wallace, age 80 of Blowing Rock Road, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Norton Community Hospital. Born in Dickenson County, she was a daughter of the late Oliver and Edna Stanley Willis. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C.L. Wallace, a son, Ellis Dean Wallace, and a great-grandchild, Leann Owens.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy (Sunny) Owens of Clinchco, VA and Trula (Gerald) Hess of Honaker, VA, three sons, Ronald (Dinah) Wallace of Vansant, VA, Larry (Della) Wallace and Tommy (Peggy) Wallace both of Haysi; grandchildren, Richard, Mark, Frank, Jill, Laura, Mary Ann, D.J., Herman, Sarah, Jason, Jane and Kevin; several great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sisters June Yates, Dollie (K.J.) Mullins and Bonnie (Regionald) Coleman and a brother, Danny (Shirley) Willis.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Haysi Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Ward officiating. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, September 8, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the F.L. Colley Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Grandsons and Grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
