Clinchco, VA – Dianah Lynn Harrison, age 68 of Backbone Ridge, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at Johnson City Medical Center. Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Delta Sutherland Breeding. She was a 1967 graduate of Haysi High School, a past member of Eastern Star Chapter 144 of Clintwood, a member of Haysi-Clinchco Lions Club, a member of Ridgeview High School band boosters and was of the Baptist faith. Dianah was last employed as a bookkeeper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Kay Sullivan.
Survivors include her husband, Donnie E. Harrison, a daughter, Tammy (Shane) Cochran of Clintwood, VA, grandsons, Brody and Cade Cochran, brother-in-law, Dennis (Sandy) Harrison of Bristol, VA, a niece, Angela Lynn Rasnake, and great nephews, Michael and Brett Rasnake.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elders Mark Justice, Larry Puckett, and Roger Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Rufus Perrigan Cemetery, Clinchco. Grandsons and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 6 at the funeral home after 5:00 p.m. where an evening service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
