JUNIOR CHESTER DEEL
Haysi, VA- Junior Chester Deel, age 61 of Owens Branch, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at Buchanan General Hospital in Grundy, VA. Born in Buchanan County, he was a son of the late Howard and Cora Jane Deel. He was last employed as a coal miner and was a member of Greenbrier Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rosa Coleman and brothers, David, Paul, Ernest, Carter and Jessie.
Survivors include a son, Junior Chester Deel II of Ohio, a brother, Ronald Deel of Haysi and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Haysi Funeral Home with Russell Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in Conaway Cemetery, Birchleaf, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home prior to funeral services.
