Obituary for Teddy C. Wallace

Teddy C.  Wallace
Haysi,VA-Teddy C. Wallace, age 81 of Old Three C Road, passed away Wednesday,January 3, 2018at Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport, TN. Born in Kentucky, he was a son of the late Roy and Odell Mullins Wallace. He was last employed as a school bus driver for Dickenson County Public Schools and attended Bartlick Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Dean Wallace, brothers, Jimmy “Bub” Wallace and Darrell Wallace and sisters, Nina McFall Hayes and Gail VanNostrand.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Beulah, four sons, Dewayne (Helen) Wallace, Dana (Cheryl) Wallace, Darnell (Pam) Wallace and Darris Wallace all of Haysi, two daughters, Sonja (Bill) Viers of Radford and Angie Parrigan of Haysi, 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren, two brothers, Dean Wallace of Baltimore, MD and Mal Wallace of Wise, VA and a sister, Ivis “Bunny” Salyers of Liberty, KY.
A Song service with Junior Deel will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Haysi Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Wallace Family Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Pallbearers will be Grandsons.The procession will leave the funeral home at 12:30.The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to song service.
