SHIRLEY GAY TURNER
Clintwood, VA – Shirley Gay Turner, age 60, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Dickenson Community Hospital in Clintwood, VA. Born in Tazewell County, she was a daughter of the late Wade Earl and Mable Dollie Street Brown. She was a homemaker and of the Freewill Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Joe Wade Brown, Ralph Blankenship and Ricky Rex Brown, sisters, Barbara Ann Brown and Bonnie Faye Harris and a nephew, Larry Dewayne Harris.
Survivors include her husband, John Turner, three brothers, Jerry (Dean) Brown, Ronnie (Donna) Brown and Johnny (Blanch) Brown, brothers-in-law, Larry Harris and Eugene (Becky) Turner and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 at Haysi Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Stanley and Rev. Troy Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Whitt Cemetery, Drill, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
