Condolence: James, Debbie and family,

We are very sad upon hearing of your loss. I first met her in the 70's and liked her immediately. She came to visit me many times during my career. I admired her spunk, her devotion to children and her superior work ethic. She reminded me of my precious grandmother. I often thought about the team they would have made together. Selma and Roy are two of the best people we have ever known.

Condolence From: Curtis Childress
Condolence: To The Family--- I am so very sorry to know of Selma's passing, though be sure she is well in eternity with God and all others who have gone on before. Selma was a first cousin to my father Billy Childress, son of Sam and Maxie (Colley) Childress. Both my parents Billy and Elsie knew Roy and Selma and family for many decades. To hear of the family numbers from the older generations becoming less is a reality but still sad. So much history in the family. I pray for the wellness and hearts of those left to both celebrate and mourn Selma's life. A better day waits for us all...here on earth and in eternity.

Condolence: Sandy, Roy Lee and family, I had the pleasure of knowing Selma for many years. She had enthusiasm and energy that went beyond that of many folks much younger than she. She was a lady who always spoke her mind and never left any doubt what she was thinking. I always liked that about Selma. She will be missed. My sympathy to you all and may God comfort you at this sad time
