Jerry Lee Charles
Clinchco, VA – Jerry Lee Charles, age 83, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at his residence. Born in Virginia, he was a son of the late Mack and Annie Sutherland Charles. He was retired from General Motors and was of the Free Pentecostal Church of God faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Terry Charles and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include three children; Tammie (Rand) Cimino of Nicholasville, KY, Timothy (Tammie) Charles of Louisville, KY, and Christopher (Cindy) Charles of Clinchco, grandchildren; Devon Charles, Travis Cimino, Nick Cimino, Alex Charles, Natalie Long, Aaron Charles, Billy Shane Charles, and Victoria Charles, a great-grandchild, Dakota Wayne-Long, and a very special friend, Barbara Deel.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Haysi Funeral Home with Jerry Holland officiating. Burial will follow in the Smellage Cemetery, Baxter, TN.
