KENNETH RAY COLEMAN
Jewell Ridge, VA- Kenneth Ray Coleman, age 68, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at his home. Born in Buchanan County, he was a son of the late Silas and Lydia Deel Coleman and his late biological parents, Bascum and Maggie Tiller. He was last employed as a coal miner and was of the Old Regular Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Coleman, a step-son, Timmy Lester and a son-in-law, Bobby Thomas, two brothers, James and Darrell Hackney.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Compton, children, Alice May Thomas of Vansant, Brenda (Mark) Farmer of Richlands, Linda (Martin) Ratliff of Bee, Christina Turner of Richlands, Elbert (Linda) Lester of Claypool Hill, Marlene (Harold) Edwards and Darlene (Harry) Blankenship both of KY, Leeann (David) Delp of Richlands, Jeffery (Teresa) Justus of Pounding Mill, Alex (Carrie) Justus of Jewell Ridge and Becky (Rick) Blevins of Lebanon, 24 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Larry Tiller of Vansant and Jimmy Ratliff of Grundy and a sister Cathy Kelly of Orange Park, FL.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Parrot Deel Cemetery, Haysi, VA with Elders Jackie Yates and Terry O'quinn officiating.
