LUTE G. JONES

Brookeville, Ohio- Lute G. Jones, age 80, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Greenbrier Nursing Home in Eaton, Ohio. Born in Kentucky, he was a son of the late Blanche Jones Holland. He was a Korean Veteran and retired from General Motors. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Jones, sisters, Louise Stubblefield and Jacqueline Osborne and brothers, Samuel Burns and David Holland.
Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Cornett of Nashville, TN and Ruth (Jack) Osborne of Hyden, KY and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Haysi Funeral Home with Pastor Duane Harney. Burial will follow in Bostic Family Cemetery, Vansant, VA. Pallbearers will be Joshua Fuller, Matthew, Hadley, Christopher, Larry and Gene Bostic.
