PEGGY JOYCE CHAPMAN O’QUINN
Clintwood, VA-Peggy Joyce Chapman O’Quinn, age 81, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. Born in Talladega, AL, she was a daughter of the late William Clarence and Beulah Bradshaw Chapman. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene O’Quinn and a sister, Clara Atkins.
Survivors include her children, Glenda (Doug) Lane, Joey (Patty) O’Quinn and Sherri (Dewayne) Stanley all of Haysi, grandchildren, Autumn (Chris) Lamkin of Haysi, Cody (Kaylee) Hutchinson of Castlewood, Seth O’Quinn, Jarrod (Audrea) O’Quinn, Chesnee O’Quinn, Blake (Susan) Stanley, Brittany Stanley, Dakota (Colleen) Stanley, Jessie Owens, Amanda Conaway and Amber Lane all of Haysi, great-grandchildren, Alex, Raegan and Reese Lamkin, Rory Hutchinson, Haley, Caleb, Bryden, Anna and Jacob Conaway, Terran and MaKinley Owens, Rozlyn Counts, Hunter and Julie Edwards, Everlee O’Quinn, Riley, Harper and Gunner Blair, a sister, Betty Raines of West Point, TN and a brother, William Clarence “Buddy” Chapman of Marietta, GA.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Blankenship Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral Haysi Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
