Message: Although many years ago, I remember Wayne from the yearly family visits throughout my youth. In my eyes, Wayne was a large presence in a room. He had such a bright smile and loved to laugh. He had a good voice and could really sing. I was always impressed that among other talents he had a furniture business in Haysi for a time. He brought into the world two wonderful children and was a dedicated family man. I am sad to know that he has passed but I think of him now as being with his siblings Bill, Rex, Gene and Glade, and parents Dale and Martha.
