Message: We are all sadden to here about the sudden lost of Gib. We will always remember him in our hearts, minds and souls. I remember when Gib and his family lived just a little ways up the creek from the home we once had there in Haysi. Teddy and I were always doing something together, like riding our Bikes on the frozen water of Prater Creek one very cold winter, Gib was always there watching over us, and this was a good thing, as we younger ones at the time did not always see all the trouble's that was around us or was about to fall into(like the frozen creek water). Gib was there to make sure we could see the way clearly(he'd say; Open your eyes boys). Yeah, seems like it was only yesterday. Rest easy "Gib" we can see our way now.
